THIS POST WAS UPDATED OCTOBER 8, 2021
Thank you for your interest in a summer camp job at Aloha Beach Camp Hawaii. We know many college-age students and other people who enjoy working with kids are looking for summer jobs right now. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we needed to put a hold on hiring camp counselors until our staffing needs became clearer. We are pleased to say we are fully open for summer camp 2022! We invite you to return to our website in February. At that time, we will have more information regarding how many counselors we may need this summer and will begin applicant interviews. Meanwhile, we wish you all the best in your summer camp job search. Thank you again for your interest in Aloha Beach Camp's Hawaii summer camp program for 2022.

Growing up in Southern California, I developed an interest for the ocean environment. I am currently attending Orange Coast College as a marine science major, with my focus on advocating for marine life and conservation. I am also pursuing my Divemaster certification, with over four years of diving experience and over 100 dives completed. Additionally, I am an experienced sailor who has traveled internationally to various destinations by boat. My enthusiasm for learning and exploration grew through attending a summer camp in the British Virgin Islands for three consecutive years, where I gained hands-on experience in activities like swimming, kayaking, hiking, exploring different cultures and exploring unique marine environments. I want to bring my skills, experience, and passion for outdoor exploration and education to your team while also providing a supportive, fun and engaging environment for participants. As a counselor, I will contribute to creating meaningful experiences for others while supporting Aloha Beach Camp Hawaii’s mission.

I’m beyond excited to apply for a spot at camp this summer! After an unforgettable experience as the camp photographer last year in Canada, I’m eager to bring my energy and enthusiasm back to camp. From bonding with the youngest girls in the first half to sharing laughs with the older girls in the second, I had the chance to connect with a range of campers and make their time at camp memorable. As a 21-year-old law student from the UK, I’m ready for a fun and refreshing change of pace. The best part of camp last year? Seeing the kids’ faces light up with joy and knowing I played a part in making their summer incredible. I can’t wait to dive back in and help create even more moments of happiness and adventure!
