Have you ever wanted to live in your own place without parents, but with your best friends and awesome counselors instead? That’s cabin life at Aloha Beach Camp—our Hawaii sleepaway camp for kids and teens. It’s cozy, fun, and even a little bit magical!
Boys and Girls Get Their Own Cabins
Boys have their own cabins and girls have theirs. Each cabin sleeps up to 12 campers with two counselors. You’ll have your own bunk and personal space, plus private bathrooms and showers inside the cabin for comfort and privacy.

Can’t fall asleep? No worries. We’ve got mellow nighttime games, cabin chats, and relaxing wind-down time. It’s your home base, and we’ll do everything we can to make it comfortable. (And if a little candy sneaks in, no biggie, we won’t tell the camp director!)

Sometimes the Cabins Get Sandy!
Cabin life is the heart of the overnight camp experience. Our cabins are literally steps from the beach. That means ocean views… and, sometimes, sandy floors. We keep things tidy with simple cabin jobs like sweeping and organizing. Small price to pay for living on the shore! We’re your hosts, and you’re our guest. If there’s anything we can do to make your cabin more comfortable, just tell your counselor and we’ll jump on it.
Can You Be in a Cabin With Your Friends?
You’ll make new friends fast because you’ll spend days and nights with your cabin group. If you want to bunk with specific friends, just note this on your Registration Form and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

How many campers are in each cabin?
Up to 10 campers plus two counselors live together in each cabin at our Hawaii sleepaway camp.
Are bathrooms and showers in the cabin?
Yes—each cabin has private bathrooms and showers for comfort and privacy.
Can my child bunk with friends?
Add your request on the Registration Form and we’ll do our best.
What if my camper has trouble sleeping?
Counselors lead calming games and wind-down time to help campers relax at night.
What if my child gets homesick?
It’s common! Our counselors use proven strategies—extra check-ins, buddy activities, letters from home, and gradual independence—to help campers feel secure and supported.
