Aloha Beach Camp's Hawaii Overnight program takes place at the Camp Mokuleia facility on the beautiful North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The camp is located right on the beach between the mountains and the sea. One of the most beautiful and unique settings for an overnight summer camp, Camp Mokuleia is just a 45-minute drive from downtown Honolulu and world-famous Waikiki Beach.
At Aloha Beach Camp Hawaii, we offer the ideal setup for kids and teens seeking a Hawaii summer program that rises above the ordinary camp experience. Our experience has taught us that late July to early August is the perfect time to enjoy Hawaii. The weather is ideal for outdoor activities, the ocean is calm for snorkeling, and the waves are perfect for surfing. The limited timeframe ensures a high-quality, exclusive experience with strong bonds formed among campers.

Energetic, caring, creative, and mature, Aloha Beach Camp counselors and staff are selected for their ability to work with children and serve as positive role-models. At least 19 years old (average age 27), they're all Lifeguard, CPR, and First-Aid Certified and have passed a criminal background check. They are dedicated to making your child's camp experience with us the best it can be.
Living in tents and cabins with your counselors and fellow campers is a staple of the overnight summer camp experience. All of our cabins are located right on the beach and have electricity and indoor restrooms (sink, toilet, shower) for privacy. We use bunk beds that sleep one person on top and one person on the bottom. Approximately 2 counselors and 8 campers sleep together in the cabins; these people comprise your "cabin group" and will be together all week, not just in the cabins at night, but also during the day while enjoying camp activities and meals together.
Aloha Beach Camp's staff is trained and skilled in helping campers overcome homesickness. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, homesickness can negatively impact a child's camp experience if not handled with care and urgency. Parents will be contacted if the homesickness continues for more than 24 hours. We will continue to work with your camper to minimize any feelings of homesickness and make sure they have a fantastic time at camp.
Protecting the health and safety of our campers is our top priority. Many campers require medication at camp; this is not unusual. If your child must take medication at camp, please send a note with clear instructions. The medicine must be in the original prescription container or labeled bottle. All medications must be turned over to the Camp's Health Care Provider or designated staff upon arrival and may only be administered by them with written consent from the parent or guardian.
Of course! Our summer camp in Hawaii is just an additional program option along with our L.A. day camp. Many kids attend our day camp program, others join us in Hawaii, and many do both. It's completely your choice as to which program or programs you want to attend—you can go to one, the other, or both.
Being in Hawaii, you won't need much other than a few bathing suits and towels. We'll send you a suggested packing list after you sign up for camp. Please note many airlines impose a per-bag luggage fee that increases the heavier your suitcase gets, so please pack lightly.
Since each family's travel needs vary, you have complete control over how your child will get to and from camp. Our goal is to make the travel experience as stress-free as possible for you and your camper. Here are the options:
As soon as possible. Your camper can either fly with our staff and other campers from LAX (subject to space availability) or fly separately and meet us in Hawaii at the Honolulu airport or at camp. After you sign up for camp, we will contact you to discuss options and make arrangements. If you have further questions about flight and travel arrangements ahead of time, please contact us.
Aloha Beach Camp Hawaii is open for 12 nights and 13 days from Saturday, July 28 till Saturday, August 9, 2025, with the following session options:
