Getting to camp is part of the adventure, and we want to make your travel experience as smooth as possible. Here are some flight options you can consider:

Option 1: Fly with the Camp Staff

Our staff will be traveling from LAX to camp via Hawaiian Airlines. Many campers opt to join this flight, and it’s a great way to start the camp experience early! You'll have friends before you even arrive at camp. If you'd like to book this flight, just let us know, and we'll provide you with all the necessary details.

Option 2: Choose Your Own Flight

If you'd rather book a different flight, no worries! We can arrange to meet you at the Honolulu Airport. From there, we'll escort you and the other campers to camp using our camp vans. The journey from the airport to camp takes about 45 minutes, and it’s a great way to see some of the beautiful landscapes of Hawaii.

Option 3: Meet Us at Camp

For families planning to use this time for a vacation, meeting directly at camp is also an option. This allows parents to enjoy some leisure time in Hawaii while their kids head off to start their camp adventure.

In the past, we've offered group flight travel, organizing flights for campers from LAX to Hawaii. However, after careful consideration and feedback from our camp community, we've decided to make some positive changes to enhance the overall camp experience.

Starting with the 2024 camp season, we will no longer be organizing group flights. Coordinating these flights was becoming quite complex and challenging from an administrative and staffing standpoint. We wanted to avoid any complications and focus more on providing an unforgettable camp adventure.

We also understand that campers come from all around the world join us at camp, which can make arranging group flights even more difficult. Our goal is to simplify the process and ensure everyone has a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.

So, how will travel to camp work now?

Campers will be responsible for arranging their own travel to Hawaii. Your child will have the option to fly into the Honolulu airport, and we'll be there to greet them and provide transportation to the campsite.

Alternatively, campers can meet us directly at camp itself should that be your preference.

To make things even more fun and social, our camp staff will be traveling from various locations. In February, we'll let you know which flights our staff will be on. If you wish, you can choose to join those flights, allowing campers to travel together and share the excitement of the journey.

Please remember that we are not a travel agency, and we won't be officially organizing any group flights. Our main focus is on ensuring an incredible camp experience for everyone once you arrive at our beautiful campsite.
