We Intend to Operate in 2021!

Aloha Friends and Families!

We hope you are healthy and safe and your school year is off to a great start. We know many of you are eager for an update regarding summer camp for 2021, particularly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Last summer was disappointing for all of us, but we finally have some good news to share with you!

We are excited to inform you we have been authorized by our host camp facility in Hawaii to operate our program, and are currently working with federal, state and local health officials to develop procedures and guidelines to safely operate our regular in-person Hawaii summer camp in 2021!

We missed our campers so very much when we were closed, and we know you were sad we were unable to open camp because of COVID-19. We can't wait to share with you the best camp experience of all time this coming summer!

Camp Might Look Different in 2021, But We're Looking Forward to Having Twice the Fun

We are looking forward to sharing the best camp experience EVER with our campers in 2021. We know you missed out on tons of fun last summer, so we're already working hard to ensure your upcoming camp experience is twice as fun to make up for lost time last year.

At the same time, there are a few important points to remember as you look forward to summer camp 2021.

As you might expect, the camp experience might look a little different with respect to the ways we interact with one another.

Campers receiving instruction from their Camp Counselor for how to safely participate on the Monster Alpine Tower and Giant Swing at Aloha Beach Camp's Hawaii summer camp program on the north Shore of Oahu.
For example, we will need to keep a little more distance between each other when we eat meals and participate in various activities. The same holds true for when we're in our cabins and other ways we congregate with each another.
But even though these protocols are important to prevent the spread of COVID-19, don't worry!

Everything you know and love about Aloha Beach Camp -- including our tight-knit camp community, making new friends, enjoying nighttime campfires, laughing all day and night, midnight dance parties, and almost everything else -- will continue as it always has. That means you can expect an awesome Hawaii summer camp experience that you will never forget!

Limited Space Available (Strict Capacity Restrictions!)

Campers gives the
As you may know, Aloha Beach Camp is only a small camp to begin with. We keep enrollment intentionally low in the interest of making sure our campers get VIP treatment from our counselors, make as many new friends as possible, and make the most of the camp experience.

While our small size is one of our hallmarks and something our campers love, it also means finding available space at camp next summer will be tougher than ever because we're reducing camper capacity as a best practice to reduce and eliminate the spread of of coronavirus at camp. We anticipate accepting just 50% of usual enrollment for summer 2021.

This means we'll only have room for 20 or 30 kids before we start a waiting list. (And several of these spots are already spoken for by campers who signed up for camp last year and deferred their registrations to 2021 since we were closed last summer.)

If you would like to reserve your child's space at camp, we encourage you to book your child's space now while we still have a few spots left.

You can reserve your space with a $475 deposit today. Your deposit is completely refundable if you change your mind or camp is unable to operate in 2021 for any reason.  Just fill out this registration form to pay your deposit and reserve a spot while we still have space for your child for summer camp 2021.

Check Back Often for Updates

Even though there will always be some degree of uncertainty with respect to advance planning in the age of COVID-19, we are extremely optimistic we will be able to operate Aloha Beach Camp's Hawaii summer program in 2021.  We are committed to employing best practices and procedures for keeping our campers and staff as safe as possible and always welcome your feedback and any questions you may have.

Please feel free to email or call us at (818) 932-4600 any time.  We may not have the answer to every question as information relating to COVID-19 is always in flux.

But we are happy to share with you everything we know right now, and we will certainly post new information here as it becomes available, so please make a point of returning here often.

Meanwhile, we hope to see your child at camp next summer.  Reserve your spot today!
