Can Local Oahu Residents Attend Camp?

We got an email this morning from a prospective camp family who lives on Oahu. They wanted to know whether local Oahu families could join us at camp. The answer is, OF COURSE THEY CAN! :)

In fact, many local ohana, not just from Oahu but various neighboring islands, participate at cam with us every summer.

Compared to other camps, we keep enrollment intentionally small so our counselors can do very personal work with our campers and everyone's opportunity to make lots of new, close friends is exponentially enhanced with a smaller group.

In general, we will usually host about 30 campers per season. Here's a typical breakdown of where they come from:

• 12 campers - Various states across U.S. Mainland
  
• 10 campers - Various countries worldwide including Korea, Japan, Germany, China, Spain, Mexico, France and many more
  
• 8 campers - Oahu, Hawaii and neighboring islands
  

Campers from all over the world, including Hawaii itself, attend Aloha Beach Camp's Hawaii summer camp program on the north shore of Oahu every summer. Everyone is welcome!

Remember, these numbers are just examples. Actual camper participante count varies every summer, but the above is a pretty accurate representation from year to year.

So if your child lives in Hawaii -- on Oahu or anywhere else -- they are more than welcome to join us in 2021 and beyond.
